The Obama VP text message? Came at 3:15 am. I actually brought my phone to bed with me last night to hear what time the message came through. I did not have to read it though because as I was getting ready for bed the news reported that even though the VP announcement hadn't been made yet, the Secret Service had been dispatched to Joe Biden's home. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.
3:15 in the morning. Geez, Obama, get some sleep!
Autumn Watch:
In addition to some trees changing color around here, I noticed these things in the garden today:
The sedum is starting to get it's autumn color
and so are the hydrangea
These are welcomed signs!
And my Saturday Sky looked like this outside of my window
Complete with husband on a ladder painting the house!

Yayyyy for husbands on ladders painting the house. Actually, I've forbidden my husband to get on the ladder anymore. He seems to forget he's there, and takes a step back to admire his work. Brains?...I'm not sure where they went. Anyway, he's no use to me hurt. I am such a witch. Admit it. LXLX

Oh, and I was always picked last in gym class, too, but today I'm going to run 7 miles! Some of those people doing the picking back then are now bald and paunchy and they can eat my dust!
