Town and Country sweater in Foxfire cormo/silk/alpaca
Alas, it is the season of dark photos with the leaving for work and arriving home in the dark. Honestly, I love it. I'm not sure if I was some kind of vampire in another life or perhaps an owl (at least I'd like to imagine me as an owl rather than a vampire) but I love the cozy darkness and having the neighborhood lights on.
It is a pleasure to be excited about knitting right now. This is the Town and Country sweater from A Fine Fleece in the Foxfire cormo/silk/alpaca.
Nice!

Great start on your Town and Country. I love the look of the natural wool, so classic. Are you going to the Fiber Twist?

That looks gorgeous already. Seriously. I am going to have to get to Rhinebeck next year to get my hands on some Foxfire.

Lovely knitting!

I was just talking this morning (while running in the dark) about getting a light box this winter. The dark makes me so tired, and I really can't be going to sleep at 7:00 every night.

Winter like weather does make one yearn for warmth.

That sweater looks so cozy!
I think I was a bear in a previous life - as soon as the weather starts getting cold, I want to hibernate till spring...

Whoa!!! You go, GIRL. That is going to be one WONDERFUL sweater. And I'm so glad you went with the white. AWESOME.

In other yarn and sweater news, I can't take off my PF sweater, and therefore as I mentioned to you, I clearly need another or two. I ordered it. It arrived. Now the biggest decision is which color should I use. They are both gorgeous, and I can't wait. Clearly I've got my knitting mojo back, not to mention the sweater mojo.

Everything in its time, no?

I love the Fine Fleece book. That is going to be one beautiful sweater in that yarn!

Sandy,
That's a really sweet pattern. Does it have an "official" name? It looks like circles.

Mai cher (err, imagine the Cajun accent would ya?)- a clamp light is very cheap and provides faboo light during the nasty dark winter. Home Depot has them for under $10. All you need then is a daylight lightbulb. Voila, let there be light!
