10.30.2008 :: 62. mini random
Well. Here we go.
~Oh, dear. Yesterdays story did not pan out really well. I should have 'splained myself a bit better. I intended that each word would follow each other, all adding up to a story. Some of those words don't relate so the exercise is dead. Let me know if you want to do it again, I'd love to see what WE come up with!
~Knitting and loving it:

Town and Country sweater, foxfire yarn
~I'd like to share with you my new fancy schmancy stitch markers. They are quite exclusive. I'm sure you don't have them.

Found at an office supply store near you!
~I was at work when I started the cables on the sweater, forgetting to bring any stitch markers. A bit of a desk raid and I was all set!
~One more day to October. Honestly, I'm just getting used to it being 2008 and soon the year will turn.
~This now concludes this mini random.

A creative idea to use the pin as stitch markers. :-)

I shall be kind and not say what I think about the other post's comments.
However, I can say with certainty that your cabling is gorgeous and that Claudia is scaring me. o.0

I used the same stitch market just the other day. Very fancy schmancy.

And I'm already thinking its 2009. Crazy.

That is simply one of the most beautiful sweaters I've ever seen. Wow!

I concur with Cathy Cate. When I wrote my word, it really did go with the, uh, flow. But when it posted, it came up on the other end of where I thought it would. And then it was kinda, ew.

Love your creative solution, but I am concerned that, over time, the paper clips will snag into your knitting. You may want to change to other markers when you next knit a row at home.

I've been known to cut straws for markers. Yours are much more chic. Love the cables!

Oh,heck, I'm game. I don't guess I really got it either;-)

Well, I tried by adding "melting" after chocolate but I think it was already a goner.

I'm sure Cathy is not implying that my offer of the word "heiffer" was a degeneration! I do like the sentence by sentence idea. But you should write the first sentence, to start us off.
Beautiful aran knitting, woman!! Funny, I have those stitch markers, too.

I'm with Cathy-Cate. A sentence (or even paragraph) at a time would be better, instead of a word. :)
Loving that sweater!!!!!!!!!!!

Oooo oooo, I've got those same stitch markers!
Yeah, when I dropped my word yesterday, I had forgotten about the reverse order. I shouldn't comment when in an under-caffeinated condition...

It was the reverse posting that confused me. Of course, I am easily confused! LOL!!

It's a Randomette!
I wanted to add my bit to the story, but by then it had degenerated. Twice. Too bad, it had a promising beginning....
Maybe try it again in November (NaNoWriMo or whatever it is, ya know), but have everyone do a sentence this time. That should keep people on track and add up to a story much faster.
It's a bit disconcerting to read the comments, though, since they post in reverse time order on your blog, so the story is backwards! (You might want to point that out if you do it. But if it's sentence by sentence, one could truly do it just by reading only one or two sentences ahead.) We can do it! Let's try again!

Inspiring to see that cablework! Wow!

I the same stitch markers, although the coated colored ones. I'm also using them as stitch holders on a baby sweater I'm working right now. It's perfect for a small number of stitches. Beautiful cable work!
