11.01.2008 :: 60. My tattoo

Wool and Spice Diane was kind enough to send me some Obama stuff. I am thrilled to be in possession of it all. Although I don't put bumper stickers on my car, and you don't see it here, I stood the bumper sticker in my hall window for all the neighborhood to see. Thank you, Diane, for sharing.
I have never been very interested in politics or the political process but this year I am. Perhaps it's age that makes me wiser but I have been very fascinated by the PROCESS. (nod to Margene)
And although I was a big Hilary supporter, I am now getting in line with Obama. A girl has to readjust sometimes.
AND??? I got my first tattoo today. I KNOW! Weird, right?

A temporary tattoo of course. But this is my first temporary. My family will still think I have gone over the deep end once and for all, I'm sure.
Maybe they are right.
Now. I have a glass of wine and some knitting waiting for me on the couch. Wish you were here.

You're so cute. I really want to send you some temp tattoos now.
Please tell our Norma that the term she is looking for is "tramp stamp" and, no, I will not tell you how I know that. :p

Crazy, huh? This is the first year EVER that I have a political sign in my yard. Can't wait 'til Tuesday.

I'm with you on this one! Although, I'm a political junkie and can't get enough of it, I'm ready to vote and move forward.

Damn. I saw the title in Bloglines. Figured you'd gone and gotten one of those tattoos that all the young girls think are so attractive just above the butt-crack. ROFL. XO

How convenient - you only have to take off a glove to show off your "tattoo" instead of having to roll up your sleeve. ("Hey, baby, wanna see my tattoo?")
Good point about the polling places - but a glove will solve that.

Hope you don't have problems at the poles. Here it is illegal to display any election material in favor of anyone.

Your first temp tattoo?!?!?! I also have never had bumper stickers... but I put one on this summer. It is black with these numbers "1.20.09" in white and below that in smaller letters "end of an error".

I was a Hillary fan too but Obama has grown on me. I usually not very political either but I've been fascinated by the elections this year.

Hi! I am always a little behind reading posts and such. Nice tatoo, lovely fingerless mitts, and -
it looks like we have nearly identical engagement rings! I can't tell for sure from the photo, but mine is an emerald with small diamonds on either side; yours could be a different stone (the color is unclear on my monitor) but the ring looks nearly alike. Guess we both have good taste.
Knit on!
