12.09.2008 :: 23. No video post today, just a little bellyachin'

Thank you for your praise on the video post. It was fun and done off the top of my head. Thinking on my feet and all. In all fairness I should tell you that I am not actually STANDING in my kitchen as I stated. I am sitting in my kitchen. Full Blog Disclosure and all.
So, today. Yeah. Glad it's almost over. It was a day from blah, start to finish. (Fine, it has not finished yet)
Everything I touched today turned to bad. The opposite of the King Midas touch. If I touched it, bad things happened to it. Blech.
That is my complaint of the day.
What is YOUR problem? (I liked it when we played that a couple weeks back)
SURELY, you have something to get off your chest?
~~~
Wait. Complain bitterly AFTER watching today's Christmas song.
~~
Okay, now you can let it rip!
I have a sore throat and laryngitis and too much going on. Not too bad, but bad enough at this time of year.
I'm cold. Even though it's WARM outside. My hands are cold. My feet are cold. I'd turn the heat up except supposedly it's already warm. Go figure. Maybe mittens would help?
you asked for it.
i've had aheadache for 4 days, but can't get in to my doctor for another week.
my youngest son is raising holy hell at school on a daily basis, and we've just started therapy, so i can't do any more than i am right now.
my FIL is going in for surgery tomorrow afternoon (he's 80), my mom has a doctor's appointment in the morning, and my other son has a band concert tomorrow evening, and i'm not sure when i'm going to get a chance to eat.
my older son (of theband concert) is failing half his classes, and he'sgot less than a week left before i sell his trombone.
thanks for letting me get it off my chest
Hey, it seems our complaining days match, once again i blogged about mine. And I have a sore throat today. Your video is great and its a nice idea.
Nothing to complain about today - though it's early, and I'm just drinking my coffee. Maybe when the caffeine hits the brain cells, I'll think of something.
In the meantime, have a better day!
Too early in the day(Wednesday) for things to have gone wrong yet, but I can complain about the cold. It's 10 above here, not as bad as Norma's 1 degree, but much too cold for us this early in the winter. And we got ice on the roads. Ack. Give me a blizzard over ice any day.
I could go on and on about my stuffy nose, ears and throat of pain...but I won't. Happy Tuesday, Sandy!
Hmph. Be careful what you ask for. I might never stop if I get going.
Today is a new day, thankfully!
It is bloody effin' cold here, though the thermometer says it's in the 40s, it must be lying, because it feels no warmer than the ONE DEGREE of yesterday. ONE DEGREE. (This comment is being repeated all thru blog land, heh)
Today the zipper broke in my computer/steno wheeled bag, which is VERY EXPENSIVE, by the way. And now I have to carry my stuff in TWO bags, with NO WHEELS. Frack.
And then the frigging brand new washing machine leaked all over the damn house (well, not, because we stopped it) the first time we used it. Come to find out, the installers stripped the threads on the hot water intake hose. So now the plumber will come to fix it tomorrow, but I'm gone like 28 hours tomorrow, so I still won't be able to do laundry and play with my new toys. FFS.
You think you had a bad day? Did you see my post today? Not a good day at all.
My problem is that I really wish it was early November and I had more time to get into the holiday spirit. I'm just not feeling it. What's wrong with me? I always adore xmas. I have not even *started* making candy for the relatives. I hadn't given a thought to our xmas card (and this may well be due to the fact that oldest will not be home to be *in* a picture until xmas eve). Shopping? not interested... making things for gifts? Can't get motivated... wrapping stuff already here? meh... I have asked hub to stop and buy candy making supplies on his way home. It's my hope that some divinity (candy) will change my mood for the better. :) I hope things get better on your end too.
Jeez...
I don't know where to start, so I won't. I hope your day gets better, honey. And that tomorrow is a fabulous day... or at least better.
