179. I'm in a jam

Freezer Jam? I will have to look into this. Will you tell us in your post your preferred method? :D

Yum!

The problem with boiling jars? It takes approximately 17 days for the stupid water in my canning bath to come to a boil. It's absolutely huge - my mom got it for me at an auction several years ago for about $2 - I have to put it over two burners on the stove and turn them both on. We have to fill it with the hose because it won't fit in the sink, and then it takes two of us to carry it inside. Ack!

I liked Darjeeling Limited too, and it had a great soundtrack!

Jam! I love jam I only made a small batch this year b/c my husband doesn't like strawberry jam and does not believe that I will consume the small batch all by myself, but I like to give homemade jam as gifts. I don't process jam b/c I find processing jam much too fiddly for me, I just make freezer jam YUM! I will have to try strawberry kiwi next year, that sounds amazing!

Oh btw, I didn't recommend the movie but I will now watch it. I'll stop by Norma's for berries and then your place for jam. Little toasted bread will do me fine, thanks. ;-)

I keep my fingers crossed today.

Jam is a good idea, but like you we are to late for picking strawberrys :) Where in Germany has your daughter been?

Best Wishes!

You are brave, I really want to try the canning jam thing, but between coming up with the supplies and figuring out how to do it...... Well, you know.
